The Kodak Camera was made by George Eastman. Eastman was planning on going to a trip to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, although he never went. While planning this trip, one of his colleagues had suggested that he’d film his trip. The camera equipment before the Kodak was heavy and expensive. Eastman wanted to change that. He invented the Kodak Camera.

The most important parts of Eastman's Kodak is the flexible film and the fact that it was portable. You could carry it around with you, and with just a click you'd take a picture.
